Podcast #2: Building healthy relationships

Building healthy relationships Podcast

Here I’m covering the topic of building healthy relationships as that’s one of the main areas my clients are interested in getting help with.

What differentiates healthy relationships from toxic ones?

Here I talk about mutual responsibility, finding compromise, trust/control, having freedom to say “No”, abuse/respect, safe space vs “scorecard”, self-love and self-care as a common practice or on a rare occasion.

How do relationships with other people mirror and impact self-image, self-esteem and well-being?

One of the universal laws is “As within so without”, meaning that we attract what we are (i.e. what we think, feel, do). They also say that toxic people are attracted to certain “types” of people. It’s very important to do continuous work on inner fears and blocks, improve self-esteem and forgive yourself and others for mistakes, express yourself through art and hobbies, and generally work on the most important relationship you have – with yourself πŸ™‚

What to do if a compromise cannot be reached?

Here we talk about healthy boundaries and sometimes needing to make a hard decision to end a relationship if it’s not changing for the better. Some people can be quite good at manipulation and passive-aggressive abuse, so they will make you feel they are in the right, and it’s your fault. So it’s important to build healthy boundaries that will help you identify red flags and time to leave if needed.

Healing traumatic experiences from the past is key to truly loving relationships.

It all starts from childhood years. Neuroscientists tell us our identity is built by the age of 5, and psychologists say generally 80% of life-changing trauma happens to us between birth and age of 7. Which means that some fears and unhealthy patterns are not that easy to fix, as the more painful the experience was, the likely it is that our psyche repressed it, and we don’t remember where certain fears started from. Therapy, guided mentoring/coaching, specific meditations and classes can be of big support here. If you want to take steps by yourself, a good idea would be to remember who was in your life as a child, your relationship with those people (talk about it out loud or write it down, words are important), going through childhood photo albums or toys/memorabilia could help, too.

Tarot, chakra clearing work and coaching as complementary tools to your relationship transformation.

I talk about the tools I use in my own life and on a daily basis working with my clients.

Podcast #3: Tools to eliminate anxiety and fear

Tools to eliminate anxiety and fear Podcast

Nature of anxiety and how it impacts our body.

In this podcast I talk about our nervous system protecting mechanism that generates fear in unknown or potentially dangerous situations. I explain how fear and pain experiences can settle with us on the physical body level.

How anxiety and fear manifest in our behavior, habits, world view.

Big traumatic events or smaller scale repeated events define our character and habits: how we handle certain situations, how we take risks. They make us less comfortable in opening up to people and showing our authentic self to the world. Such events cause anxiety as a surface symptom which in turn impacts our relationships with people and eventually how we raise new generations to come.

I’m giving a few examples from my own life story.

Tools to eliminate anxiety in your life as it’s happening, in the moment.

The tools I’m covering here are: meditation, tapping and affirmations, grounding focus in the now in other ways.

Changing your attitude and approach to life challenges and tirbulations.

IFS psychology school teaches us to love every part of us, free what’s frozen, reparent yourself to reprogram your brain from trauma based mindset.

Gradually fear and people pleasing habits will step away, and you’ll feel more confident to be you, with respect to others, but most importantly – with love to yourself.

Podcast #4: Figuring out life calling

Figuring out life calling Podcast

In this podcast I speak of life calling and finding the most synergetic occupation that will not feel like a job but can make you abundant and happy.

Background: why is this topic so relevant?

I get these questions as part of my coaching work with clients, often times when people start to question their lifestyle, values and priorities they inevitably question if their job/occupation is the best use of their time, or at least if there’s smth else they’d like to partake to make life experience more exciting and meaningful (as whether we like it or not we focus our life around work and career a lot). This is part of natural self-actualization and finding happiness.

You asked the question. What’s next?

There are a few ways to understand what is “my calling” or what is the dream job/hobby/career.

Start with baby steps; imagine how you will feel when you’re doing it; imagine how it may change your lifestyle and impact people around you; experiment πŸ™‚

Overcoming fear and negative self-talk.

Making a big change may call onto yo fear response (even from yourself, not to mention friends and family who may be not so understanding or supportive). How to avoid a missed opportunity scenario and give yourself a chance to do smth new and different.

Techniques and approaches to find your calling.

I explain the importance of personal astrology (natal chart, major placements) and how I apply this knowledge in my work. Weaknesses can easily turn into successes. One of the ways is Ikigai exercise. Another aspect is discovering intrinsic motivators. Lastly, remember to tune into yourself (feelings, passions, childhood memories).

Podcast #8: Mental health hygiene

Mental health hygiene Podcasts

How to out the narc and get them to leave you alone?

Ways to confirm toxic nature of communication. Can people with this disorder change? What to do so they stop bothering you and let you move on with your life (can be harder than you think as a relationship with a narcissist is often compared to drug addiction)?

Extreme cases, consequences of such relationships for “healthy” people, ways to heal.

There’s always a silver lining. What’s the positive side here? How can such connections be an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery.
